SUBSCRIPTION AND BILLING TERMS

These Subscription and Billing Terms take effect on 1 October 2026 and replace every version published before that date.

  1. About these Terms

    1. Status: These Terms form part of the Terms and Conditions of Use, and a word defined there has the same meaning here.

  2. The plans

    1. Free use: You may use the Service without a Paid Plan. What free use includes, and the usage limits that apply to it, are shown in the Service.

    2. The Paid Plans: NTSWAKAZA offers the Paid Plans set out in the table below. What each Paid Plan includes, and the usage limits that apply to it, are described in the Service and shown to you before you pay.

  1. Taxes: Every price shown for a Paid Plan is the full price payable and includes value-added tax where NTSWAKAZA is required to charge it.

  2. Currency: You must pay in South African rand.

  3. Changes to the plans and their prices: NTSWAKAZA may change a Paid Plan or its price on at least 30 days' notice to you. A change does not take effect during a billing period for which you have already paid. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel under the Cancellation Policy before it takes effect, and NTSWAKAZA must refund the fees you have paid for the part of the billing period that follows the cancellation.

  1. Buying a paid plan

    1. Who may buy a Paid Plan: You may buy a Paid Plan only if you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18 years of age, your Guardian must buy it, and your Guardian is responsible for every amount payable under it.

    2. What we show you before you pay: Before you pay, NTSWAKAZA must show you:

      1. the plan and what it includes;

      2. the full price, including value-added tax and every other charge;

      3. how often you will be billed;

      4. that the plan renews automatically, and the amount and frequency of each renewal; and

      5. how to cancel.

    3. Checking your order: Before you place your order, NTSWAKAZA must give you an opportunity to review the whole transaction, correct any mistake in it, and withdraw from it.

    4. When a Paid Plan starts: A Paid Plan starts when NTSWAKAZA receives your first payment for it, unless the sign-up states otherwise.

    5. Confirmation: NTSWAKAZA must send you a confirmation that records the plan, the price paid, the start date, the billing period and the date on which the next payment is due.

  2. Paying

    1. Paying: Payments are processed by PayFast. You may pay by the methods that provider offers at checkout. NTSWAKAZA does not store your card details.

    2. When payment is taken: Fees are payable in advance for each billing period. NTSWAKAZA takes the fee on the day the Paid Plan starts and on the corresponding day of each following billing period.

    3. Failed payments: If a payment fails, NTSWAKAZA must tell you and may try again three times over seven days. If the fee is still unpaid 30 days after it was due, NTSWAKAZA may suspend your access to the features of the Paid Plan.

    4. Duplicate or incorrect charges: If you are charged twice for the same billing period, or charged an amount you did not agree to, tell NTSWAKAZA. NTSWAKAZA must investigate and, where the charge was a duplicate or was made in error, refund it through the payment method you used. The Refund Policy applies to every other refund.

    5. Payment security: NTSWAKAZA must use a payment system that is sufficiently secure with reference to accepted technological standards.

  3. Renewal

    1. Automatic renewal: A Paid Plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, for a further period of the same length and at the price then published, unless you cancel it before the end of that billing period.

    2. Reminder before a renewal: NTSWAKAZA must remind you of a renewal not less than 10 Business Days before it takes place, by a notice in the Service and, where NTSWAKAZA has an email address for you, by email.

  4. Changing your plan

    1. Moving to a more expensive plan: A move to a more expensive plan takes effect immediately. NTSWAKAZA charges you the difference between the two plans for the remainder of the billing period, and the new price applies from the next billing period.

    2. Moving to a cheaper plan: A move to a cheaper plan takes effect at the end of the billing period in which you ask for it. NTSWAKAZA is not required to refund the difference for that billing period.

  5. Records

    1. Your record of the transaction: NTSWAKAZA must keep the confirmation and these Terms available to you, in a form that you can access, store and reproduce, for five years after the transaction.
