Send a deletion request

Cannot log in, or requesting for your child?

Email support@ntswakazah.co.za with the subject “Tutor ya Rena deletion request”. Include your account email, whether you want account deletion or selected learning data deleted, and a reply address if you no longer have access to your account email.

We must verify account ownership or guardian authority before deleting anything. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or identity documents in your first email.

What happens to your data?

Account deletion requests cover your login account and associated personal data, including your learner profile, progress, mastery, streak and attempts. We review associated age, consent, recovery and account-link records, and explain any required retention before confirming completion. Learning-data-only requests leave your login account in place.

Transactions and required billing records are retained for 5 years, or 7 years where company-law requirements apply, as set out in our Privacy Policy. Other legal or security retention exceptions will be explained in our response. Deleted records may remain in backups until those backups rotate; they must not be restored to active use.

A deletion request does not automatically cancel a paid subscription. Please use Plan & billing to request cancellation, or tell support you need help with it. We review recurring payments before completing account deletion so you are not left paying for an inaccessible account. Our app cannot delete records held independently by PayFast.

Saved papers, simulations and preferences on your devices must be cleared on each device. For immediate deletion of selected learning records, use the existing controls on Privacy & your data. These controls do not delete your login account.
